Standard 2-Year Warranty
Every new Briot edging system is covered by a two-year warranty on parts and labor. The only exclusions are consumables and replacement parts for normal usage and maintenance. The standard warranty also covers the cost of one preventative maintenance visit per year including the dispatch fees for this service call. To ensure optimum performance, all edgers should be maintained following the daily and weekly cleaning procedures explained at the time of installation.
Extended Service Agreements
Briot offers two types of extended service agreements to provide service coverage beyond the standard two-year warranty.
3-Year Extended Service Agreement: Total Ownership Protection (T.O.P.)
The T.O.P. plan extends the standard 2-year warranty for 3 more years, providing 5 years of worry-free protection for your Briot edging system. It must be purchased at the time a new Briot edger is purchased. The 3-year extended service agreement covers all standard parts and labor, and includes one preventative maintenance visit per year at no charge. It also includes a 20% discount on consumables and non-covered items. Service calls other than the annual preventative maintenance visit will incur the standard dispatch fees.
1-Year Extended Service Agreement
A 1-year Extended Service Agreement can be purchased for any Briot edging system less than 5 years old. This service plan covers parts and labor for 1 year from the date of the agreement, and includes a 20% discount on consumables and non-covered items. One preventative maintenance visit is required at the time of purchase or renewal, and will be billed at the current service call rate. Service calls other than the annual maintenance visit will incur the standard dispatch fees. Coverage will expire when an edger reaches age 60 months regardless of the agreement start date.
