  Briot's exclusive 5-D tracing goes beyond traditional 3-D to measure five frame dimensions: size, shape, curvature, thickness and the frame bevel angle. This delivers the most aesthetically pleasing and accurate frame fit possible, for superior results.

  Just drop the frame into the scanner and let go. Accura orients the frame automatically and traces without exerting pressure that can distort the measurements, a problem with tracers that require manual manipulation.

  Accura records 1,028 points of data for each eye separately to ensure optimum fit.

Accura's patented lens clamping system automatically controls pressure on the lens during the edging process to prevent slippage and avoid cracking or crazing. • Exclusive Auto Expert provides correct bevel placement automatically.
  At the press of a button, Accura calculates frame and lens data programmed into the machine and executes the correct bevel placement. This saves operator time and effort with difficult jobs. Auto Expert is one of eight pre-set options.

AUTOMATIC GROOVING (Accura Cx and Pro)

• Groove rimless lenses automatically in seconds.
  This saves minutes per job, hours per week, by eliminating the time it takes to move the lens to a separate groover. Accura has two pre-set groove widths (0.6mm and 1.0mm) and runs manually or automatically, your choice.
• Exclusive Auto Expert provides correct groove automatically.
  Accura's Auto Expert feature selects the correct groove placement at the press of a button, saving more time and requiring less skill to get expert results.

AUTOMATIC SAFETY BEVEL (Accura Cx and Pro)

• Safety Bevel front only, rear only, or front and rear, automatically.
  This feature also saves time and handling required to use a separate hand edger. Accura has four safety bevel choices and three depth selections:
  -light safety bevel for thin lenses
  -medium depth for average thickness
  -heavier setting for thicker lenses

AUTOMATIC POLISHING

• Polishes all plastic, polycarbonate and high index lenses.
  Accura saves as much as ten minutes per job by polishing the lens automatically in the edging chamber. There's no need to remove the lens and place it in a separate polisher. Less handling means fewer chances for scratches and mishaps to occur.
